What is SketchUp?

SketchUp is a 3D modeling software used for a variety of design and architectural projects.

Why get your design converted into a 3D sketch up model?

In our experience at Chateaux Projects, starting a project with a 3D model really helps us to -

• Firstly to quote your design more accurately, this can help to save money down the line.

• Secondly having a 3D drawing will help all parties involved in the project know exactly what they will be expecting for the finished product.

• Thirdly, a 3D model can really help further a design to the next level, visualising a project in your head can be difficult, thrashing it out on Sketchup really will bring clarity to a project.

How much will a Sketchup model cost me?

We charge £30 an hour for Sketchup modelling, for example to create the ‘Czech your pour’ bar, the cost would be 1.5 hours (£45).

How can a view a Sketchup model on my computer?

To view Sketchup models we can either send you jpegs of various angles of your projects or you can download a free online service called ‘Sketchup viewer’ from the Trimble website, this will allow you to move around and spin your design.
